Racial Reconciliation

Racist thought and behavior ignores the fact that each person is created in the image of God.  God does not create some people to be less valuable or more valuable than others. When we are prejudiced against a particular group of people because of how they look or how they speak, we grieve God. It is not His will for us to discriminate on the basis of a person’s skin color or their ethnicity.

While our nation has made discernible progress in the area of race relations, we have many miles to go. Improvement in this area must start in the body of Christ. If believers are prejudiced, how can we expect anything more from society-at-large?
